October 31, 2025Great for many uses in the yard! I've had a lot of plants that started in smaller containers, flourished and needed bigger accommodations inside of a year. I wish I'd started them all with a layer of this burlap liner, as it makes transplanting a breeze. The material is perfect to allow aeration and water to flow through without sacrificing your "gold dirt" potting soil (once you get your potting soil mix perfected, you don't want to lose even a crumb!). Very good value for the money, as you have lots of coverage. The material is coarse, but soft enough to work with the contours of your flower pots. Functions exactly as it should, and helps to hold in moisture as well when you water, all without retaining water that could be harmful. Smells like the natural materials from which it's woven. Size is ample - you get a lot of yardage for your dollar. Can definitely recommend!

October 28, 2025I ordered this burlap primarily for protecting my plants over the winter, but I did also find some other uses for the burlap - crafting and otherwise. This is a loose-weave burlap as I expected but it seems to be great quality that will hold up a decent amount of time. It's swaddled my grow bags with peas and garlic and the peas are doing well; time will tell whether or not it helps the garlic but the shoots that did come up are now well-protected so I'm sure they'll be fine. I really appreciate that it has bound edges so it won't fray on the edges, but keep in mind it WILL fray on cut edges so be prepared for that. Overall I find this burlap to be great quality and I would consider reordering it even though it seems to be priced a bit higher than I think it should.
