Premium Burlap by Fibeusion – Quality You Can Trust

These are large, durable burlap sacks. I used them as props for an Indiana Jones themed party, but they are useful for many things - gift giving, vegetable storage, plant protection etc. The 18" x 24" size is even large enough for a sack race. At only $4 each, I consider these a great buy! 5 Stars.
I love these burlap bags and highly recommend them. I got them to use as gift bags for larger items and for the ‘gift bundles’ I like to give out. I started using reusable bags instead of wrapping paper for gifts a few years ago, to cut down on waste and also make it easier for both me (no wrapping needed!) and the gift recipient. Most gift bags, including ones I improvise (such as reusable shopping bags and drawstring backpacks) are on the smaller side, so they can’t fit things like large toys or games, or gift bundles like a set of cooking tools + a cookbook. These bags are perfect for that purpose. They are super roomy, look great, and can be used for other purposes by the gift recipient. I love that they're more natural, and at the current listed price (less than $4/bag), less expensive than most conventional gift bags. They are also very well made - the burlap appears to be real jupe, is of medium weight, and is consistently and neatly woven (note that like any other burlap, being fairly coarsely woven, the material is porous and lets in light). The bags are far sturdier than any paper gift bag of this size (if you can even find gift bags this large). I wouldn’t stuff them to the top with potatoes or rocks if I wanted to carry them far, but they can pretty much hold anything else you might want to use them for. The one thing I wish were better are the drawstrings. They work well, but are on the thinner side, and are likely the ‘weak link’ in the bags. They’ll keep the bags closed, and shouldn’t break when you pull them tight to do so, but I don’t think they’re strong enough, say, to use as handles if you’re carrying anything heavy in the bags. Thicker drawstrings would not only be more durable and functional, but would also better match the rugged aesthetics of the bag (especially given how large the bag is; currently the drawstrings seem too thinly scaled for the bags). FYI, per the label on the packaging, the bags are made in India (as of the time of this review - in July 2025). Also, the care instructions say to hand wash/spot clean only; and to keep the bags from the sun. One small tip: be careful when opening the shrink wrap the bags come in, since the bags are very tightly packed in there. I used a standard utility knife, and almost sliced into one of the bags! If you use a utility blade, I’d suggest using it blade up. Even better might be a small pair of cuticle scissors or the like.
